This workshop is for people who wish to improve their skills with a sewing machine. The use of various feet will be demonstrated and practiced, including the piping (zipper) foot, buttonhole foot and blind hem foot. Machine maintenance will be revised. Students will take home working samples, a piped and zipped cushion cover and useful notes. All materials included.

The course is specially designed for beginners who want to be able to get the most out of the sewing machine. Various procedures will be demonstrated and instruction will be given on the use of the standard sewing foot, the blind hemming foot and the piping foot. Pupils will have their own made up samples to take home, together with a completed simple pillow case. All materials will be supplied, along with useful notes for you to take home.
